The-First-International-Telepathic-Animal-Communication-and-Animal-Healing-Conference

I am so excited to tell you all about the very first International Animal Communication and Animal Healing Conference that we, Elaine Downs and Sue Reid of Animal Matters, together with Julie Lines of Voice of the Animals have organised. It is called “Awakening To Animals – Bridging New Science and Animal Spirituality”
The conference is being held at the Low Wood Bay Hotel, Ambleside Road, Windermere, Lake District, Cumbria, on the 17th/18th March 2012.
The conference’s overall theme is “Equality for All Life”. Its aim is to explore the latest developments in scientific understanding and spirituality, centered around animals.
Don’t worry it isn’t going to be a boring dry type of conference. Not when we have speakers like, Amelia Kinkade, International Animal Communicator, Linda Tucker, Founder of the Global White Lion Protection Trust, Margrit Coates, world renowned animal healer and communicator, and Richard DeBoo, Co-Founder of the Animals Count Political Party, to name but a few.
These amazing presenters are going to be talking about their latest work and research around the central theme of “Equality For All Life”. They will also be talking about and demonstrating by the content of their presentations, their understanding of Quantum Physics and animal spirituality in relation to animal communication, animal healing, animal intelligence, and animal emotions.
Julie, Sue and I intend this to be the first conference of this kind. We will be organising one on an annual basis.
I don’t want to say too much more at this stage, except to say that tickets are selling fast. So, if I have whet your appetite, please visit our conference website at: http://www.awakeningtoanimals.com and buy your ticket now. I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed. It is going to be a fabulous weekend in beautiful high class surroundings with like minded animal lovers just like you. Visit our website for the "Awakening To Animals" Conference. Organised by Elaine Downs and Sue Reid of Animal Matters, and Julie Lines of Voice Of The Animals.

“Pseudoscience” or Reality

I was reminded by a fellow Animal Communicator yesterday of something that I had forgotten about. It was a series of programmes screened by BBC3 called Bullshit Detectives. The person behind these programmes was making it his crusade to expose so called frauds, namely holistic therapists, healers, psychics, mediums, animal communicators, homoeopaths, and herbalists to name but a few.
I recall watching an episode of this programme when it was first aired. I had forgotten how it had made me feel. I made the mistake of watching some of the clips that are still around on Youtube again yesterday.
It made me feel sad. Sad that people can’t just live and let live, sad that there are some people out there who feel that they must prove that we are all frauds, despite evidence to the contrary.
Instead of putting so much energy into disproving what we do, why not put a load of effort into proving what we do. What are they scared of? Scared that the so called “pseudoscience” may in fact be correct. I mean let’s face it, Albert Einstein discovered this so called “pseudoscience” are they saying that he was a fraud too?
Yesterday, part of me felt like just giving up. What if they’re right, what if I am just a fraud, and imagining that I hear animals communicate with me, see images, and feel their feelings. What if I am actually mad??
We were once accused on live radio of ripping people off, taking money from the weak and vulnerable. So, maybe they are right. Maybe we should all just pack up and go home!!
HANG ON A MINUTE, WHAT AM I SAYING. Don’t be ridiculous, of course we shouldn’t all pack up and go home. Because we all help so many people out there. I can’t tell you how many testimonials we have for our work with animals, how happy the people have been when we’ve resolved problems using “pseudoscience”, not to mention how happy the animals have been.
So, I’m not going to allow the sceptics out there to weaken me, on the contrary, I’m going to use their scepticism to make me stronger in my resolve to carry on. There is far too much anecdotal evidence out there, not to mention the growing numbers of controlled scientific evidence based experiments, to be ignored anymore.
If these are the modern day witch hunts, bring them on. We dare you!!

CHANNELLED FROM BENSON DOWNS 12.06.2008

Benson Downs-Reid. Our very wise Shih Tzu. Who has helped us to improve our intuitive communication with animals. Benson is one of our shining stars in the Animal Matters Teaching Team.

I asked my Shih-Tzu Benson for a message to give to our Advanced Animal Communication students. This is what he channelled to me:

“I have been waiting for the opportunity to talk to you about this for a very long time.
We are here because we choose to be. We have been spiritual long before man even understood the meaning of the word. We have come to show you the way, to enlighten you, and to help you. All beings on earth are equal, and everything in the universe is inter-connected. Humans are only beginning to realise this now; this has been so since the beginning of time.
Animal Communication is the everyday way to learn about Quantum Physics, we are all Quantum Physics in action. People need to look deep into their soul to find their truth. We animals have come to help you do this.
There is nothing that moves the human heart more than watching animals and nature go about their daily business, it is all so natural and uncomplicated. If you care to look, you will see how your life should be. If you observe us closely, you will learn about the important things in life. We do what we need to do and then move on, we don’t dwell on the things that happen in our world, we love the simple things in life, you should too. If you watched us and learned from what we do, your human world would be so much simpler, and life so much easier.
We are your equals, by treating us as anything less, you are devaluing yourselves, you are refusing to acknowledge the inter-connectedness of all living things. We have much to learn from each other. We are ready and willing, but are some of you?
Elaine: “How do we get ready and willing?”
Benson: “Open your heart and open your ears. Use your heart as your guidance system. When you hear things all around you during the day, ask your heart what is true from all that information. Keep what feels true close to you, discard the rest.
Don’t be afraid to follow your intuition. We animals know intuitively the difference between right and wrong, and we act on it. Humans generally do not do this, as their ego gets in the way and takes control.
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TRUST YOURSELF.

If you all listen to yourselves, your heart, your intuition, you will not go far wrong. Do not worry about what others say or do – they are not you. Be true to yourself only. When you observe animals, you will see that we do what we want or need to do at any given time. We do not worry about what others say and think, we just act. Watch us, and you’ll see how it’s done.

FEAR IS A KILLER. Do not allow fear to stifle the light within you that is really you. Sometimes we animals know fear, but, we quickly come back into balance. Humans need to learn about balance. You are not very good at that, are you? Generally just careering along without any thought for the consequences.
Mother Nature generally has to bring back her own balance, which is not always pleasant for humans. If you all lived your lives with more consideration for every other living thing around you, Mother Nature would not need to be so extreme in re-balancing the planet. We animals, domestic and wild, work with Mother Nature all the time, as we are part of her, as are you.

Which brings us to our next job, of healing. We spend much of our life trying to help heal humans. This is necessary, as they do not “live in the now”. You all spend so much time worrying about materialism and things you can’t change, whether in the past or the future. You can make your own future, your own day, by your thoughts and your actions. Try to be more positive – be grateful for the good things in your lives, then focus on those. The more you focus on the good, the more grateful you are, and the more good things will happen, then our need to heal you may not be as great.

We love and respect you all for who you are. Please do the same for us. We do not judge you, we allow you to make mistakes. We don’t hold it against you – after all you’re only human. Try doing that with all your animals and your human friends, and see how you feel, and how they feel.

We all have so much to teach and you all have so much to learn. That’s all for now. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to speak to you. Please pass this message on to all those who will listen.

Au Revoir!!! I will speak with you again in the future.”

Benson

TOT THE TEACHER

Tot the Sheepdog. Who is a very clever teacher indeed. One of Sue Reid and Elaine Downs of Animal Matters clients. client
We attended a Social Media Course at the weekend which was held on a friend’s sheep farm. I know, a strange place to hold a Social Media Workshop, at least it wasn’t held in a field. It was actually held in a fabulous building on the farm called Shepherds Barn.
Anyway I digress. Whilst we were there we met our friend Michelle’s fabulous Sheep Dog who is called Tot. We were very excited to meet Tot as although we have worked with him telepathically several times, this was the first time we had actually met him in the flesh so to speak!! At the end of the day, we were all sat around the table chatting when Michelle told us the story of how Justine (our Social Media Instructor for the day) had tried to get Tot to herd some sheep for her. Justine had given him the commands and Tot ignored her, so Justine tried again, and again Tot ignore her. At this point Michelle said to Justine “Tot is taking the mickey out of you, give the command like you mean it.” So Justine tried once more unsuccessfully, again Michelle said, “He’s really taking the mickey now!” At his point Justine really put some authority into her voice and Tot did as he was asked.
This conversation started me thinking. Quite often we are so quick to think the negative of our animal’s actions, me included sometimes! What was Tot really doing? Was he taking the mickey, or was he not reacting because he wasn’t used to working with Justine, or was it that Tot was teaching Justine to step into her own power and use authority in her voice when the situation calls for it. I’ll let you decide. But, my point is that we should stop and think before assuming that our dogs are acting in a negative way. They may simply be trying to show or teach us something. Thank you Tot.

SALLY – A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE

Sally
Birth date unknown – passed 23rd February 2010

There is one more star in the skies today. Our beautiful Sally Bear, Jack Russell Terrier Extraordinaire, finished her work on earth on Tuesday night and left us grieving, but peaceful – just like her passing.
She enriched our lives with her gentle and ladylike ways. Never one to push herself forward, she was sensitive but self –contained. No dramas, no fuss. Except for people passing, dogs passing, postmen calling, leaves falling from the trees – but that’s just a girl’s job, isn’t it??
Her abiding passion was food, food and more food. Titbits were usually taken with added fingers, unless we remembered to remind her “Gently….”, and even then there was often minor bloodshed (ours, never hers!). Mealtimes were the highlight of the day, and one of the advantages (to her) of her liver condition was that her wonderful vet Sue Armstrong had said she was to have four meals a day rather than two – they were supposed to be small but Sally made it clear that she needed large, so large it was. At the very end of her life, when dementia, and liver failure had taken so much from her, it was her one remaining joy.
She and her “sister”, terrier cross Tilly, came home to me and my then husband Martin, from North Clwyd Animal Rescue Centre on 18th August 2000. They had been found straying together, age unknown. Their needs and issues completely changed the path of my life – to preserve my sanity and theirs I studied gentle training methods, flower essences, energy therapies and finally came home again to animal communication, all through their guidance. They are responsible for the depth and variety of the toolkit now used by Animal Matters on a daily basis to help other animals and their people to find peace and personal development.
Sally has been a rock in my life; but not only for me. Her deep wisdom, steadfast support and unwavering loyalty to all concerned played a huge part in steering both me and my ex-husband through the storms of the major life changes which occurred five years ago, and which has now brought us all to a place approaching peace. She and Tilly made many sacrifices for this to happen, and they are SO much appreciated.
She also taught my new partner Elaine to love Jack Russells. Elaine’s previous experience of the breed was that they were just snappy and noisy – she quickly learned that only noisy was true (and even that not all the time), and her relationship with Sally quickly became very special.
As a valued member of the Animal Matters Teaching Team, there are so many stories of her successes – she left one particular student in no doubt that it was not necessary for either her or her photograph to be present, when she cut in on Tilly’s communication from the comfort of her bed in the next room!
Sal had only two terrors in her life – loud noises, which we sorted with the help of our own therapies plus Sue the vet’s ever-amazing homeopathy, and fear of pain – she had to be muzzled for any procedure at all, as she would literally fight for her life, totally against her usual calm and tolerant personality.
But she even used this to teach right to the last minute of her life. We knew she was failing fast, and that her quality of life and dignity was all but gone – but she was physically still vital, still able to run (in a shaky way), and to eat. Although I was 99% convinced we’d heard her right about it being time, I still had a worm of doubt – and I SO didn’t want her to struggle or fight, which had been the hallmark of every visit to the vet involving more than a consultation. When the moment came, and we lifted her on to the table wrapped in her blanket, she lay totally peaceful and trusting – she all but offered her leg for the needle. She confirmed to us all that the timing was totally right, and that her message had been heard correctly. There was sadness, of course – but Sue herself said – “There’s joy in this experience too”. There was.
All of the animals who have shared our lives have left us in no doubt that life continues eternally and communicates eternally, and that physical death is no more than a transition to a different level of being. It doesn’t stop the grief or the tears – but it holds its own comfort.
Sally made her transition with peace and love in her heart and a whole packet of the normally forbidden chocolate buttons in her tummy. We know she will continue to work with us, help us and love us, as we will her. We owe a massive debt of gratitude for all she has been and will be for us in the future. Thank you, darling angel dog, with all our being. We were so privileged to be part of your life, and of your passing.
With all our love, Mum Sue, Mum Elaine, Tilly, Benson and Rupert. XXXXXXXX

A tribute to Sally our beautiful Jack Russell Terrier. A sadly missed member of the Animal Matters Teaching Team. She was an excellent teacher of Intuitive Animal Communication. We have many students who will agree with this.

The Tail of the Traumatised pony

A few weeks ago, we were asked by a friend of ours, who also happens to be the Practice Manager at our local vets, to call up to the stables where her two beautiful ponies, Tiny and Niggy live.

She told us how a little while ago, some children had broken into Tiny and Niggy’s stable one night, and as a result of this Tiny was extremely traumatised. The lady told us that Tiny won’t approach her anymore, and when he comes in from the field at night he walks behind her and not up to her as he used to do before this incident. She also said that now when she goes to his stable door Tiny backs away from her and turns to stand facing the fat corner. The lady finds this extremely upsetting, as before the incident, Tiny would always approach her, whether that was outside or inside his stable. She realised as a result of Tiny’s changed behaviour how traumatised he was.

We stood near the boys stable as they were brought in for the night, and just as she had told us, Tiny gave us all a wide berth and walked into the stable behind her. Once he had gone into his stable, he headed straight for the far corner and wouldn’t come near us. Niggy on the other hand didn’t seem bothered, he was much more interested in what food we had for him!!

So, I stood just outside of Tiny’s stable door and sent him some Reiki healing, whilst he told me a little bit about what had gone on the night the stable was broken into, and also about his aches and pains, and his dislike of the garlic that his mother insisted on putting in his feed bucket!! (His words not mine).

As I was doing this, Sue was sat on the floor just inside the stable door, holding a carrot and some mints for Tiny to take as he felt like it. It took a while but, eventually Tiny decided that the carrots and mints were a good idea after all, better than that garlic!!

At the same time as feeding Tiny treats, Sue was also quietly doing some Hopponopono (an ancient form of Hawaiin healing).

After about an hour, we decided that we’d done enough for one day, and as we started to close Tiny’s stable door, he approached it for the first time in about two weeks, and I felt a huge feeling of fear and sadness, so much so that it brought tears to my eyes.

But, rather than thinking that this was Tiny letting me know how he was still feeling, something inside me knew that this was Tiny actually releasing those feelings which he’d had pent up inside him since the incident.

A couple of days later I got a phone call from Tiny’s person, who proceeded to tell me that he was virtually back to normal. He would approach her when he left the field, he didn’t stand facing the corner of the stable anymore, and he would approach the stable door when she came up to the door. She was so happy that she had her little Shetland pony back, and she told me yesterday that he was getting better and better everyday.

Thank you Tiny for allowing us to help you.

The Tail of the Snooty Kitty

Recently we worked with a cat, Fussy by name and nature, who had totally removed herself from the family. Her human Mum had gone and acquired a totally unncecessary very bouncy Collie puppy, without so much as a “Do you mind….?” and Fussy did mind, she minded a lot. So much so that two weeks ago she had taken  herself off to the top floor bedroom and only came out for absolute essentials. Her Mum, who loved her dearly and wouldn’t have hurt her for the world, was heartbroken.

“What am I going to do? I can’t let her go on like this  – but I can’t send puppy back either!  Would you ask her what I can do to put things right?”

We asked her. She was very hurt, and very lonely. She told us she missed her “girl time” with her Mum, watching her get ready to go out or having cudddles on the sofa. “But I won’t come down while he’s there – he doesn’t understand girl stuff. And he has absolutely no manners!”

She eventually agreed that if she sent her Mum a telepathic message that she wanted Puppy put in his crate, Mum would sort that  out and then she would come down and have her “girl time” with Mum, uninterrupted.

Mum had done a course in Telepathic Animal Communication and she knew she could communicate with Fussy, she just didn’t trust herself to get it right.

We passed Fussy’s request  on to her Mum. Three hours later we received an ecstatic text.

“It worked!! I just got the feeling I needed to put Puppy in his crate – and I’d no sooner done it than Fussy walked in and jumped straight up on the sofa beside me!”

One happy cat – and, soon after, one  big happy family.
